Editorial Team

DailyInsurance.news is written and maintained by a small editorial team, not a single columnist. This page explains how an article about an auto, home, life, renters, business, or Medicare insurance product or claim gets from a policy question to something published under this byline.

What the team actually does, article by article

  • Research. Every mechanic we describe is traced back to the source that actually governs it – a state insurance department, NAIC, NCCI or a state rating bureau, LIMRA, or the carrier’s own filed policy language – and linked inline so it can be checked. We verify a current figure or rule before it goes in an article rather than repeating something that may already be out of date.
  • Drafting. Articles are built around the coverage question, exclusion, or claim scenario a policyholder is actually facing, not a generic list of “what your policy covers.”
  • Editorial review. A second pass checks every draft against our sourcing rule (at least two verifiable primary-source citations, none from lead-generation or vendor-marketing sites) and confirms every acronym and dollar threshold is translated into what it actually means for the reader.
  • Ongoing correction. Insurance rates, policy forms, and regulations change every renewal cycle. When we find an article citing an outdated figure or a superseded rule, we fix it and re-check the rest of that article’s numbers at the same time.

Why there’s no team photo on this page

We’d rather leave this section without a photo than publish a stock image and label it “our team,” which is the kind of thing that looks fine and means nothing. If you want to reach the people responsible for a specific article – to flag an error, ask where a figure came from, or tell us a rule has changed – email us at info@dailyinsurance.news or visit our About page.

What this byline doesn’t mean

Nobody on this team is a licensed insurance agent, broker, claims adjuster, or attorney, and nothing on this site is legal, financial, or insurance advice. Our job is to accurately explain how a coverage, exclusion, or claim mechanic generally works, and to correct that explanation quickly when the underlying rule changes.
