DailyInsurance.news exists to help readers understand what a policy actually covers, excludes, and pays before they need it – not to sell coverage. This page explains how we create, source, and review our content so you know what stands behind every article.
Who writes and reviews our content
Articles are researched and written by the DailyInsurance.news Editorial Team and reviewed for sourcing and accuracy by a second member of that team before publication. We are a publisher, not a licensed insurance agent, broker, claims adjuster, or attorney; our articles are informational and are not a substitute for professional advice or the actual language of your own policy.
How we source facts
Every statistic, dollar figure, rule, and threshold we cite is drawn from a primary source – a state insurance department, a federal agency, NAIC, a state rating bureau, or a recognized industry data provider like LIMRA or the Ivans Index – and linked inline so you can verify it yourself. When we quote a source directly, we confirm the exact wording against that source’s own page before publishing. We do not publish figures we cannot verify, and when two sources disagree on a number, we say so rather than picking one.
How we add value
We aim to give you something you can’t get from a policy brochure or a quote page: worked examples with real numbers, sourced comparison tables, and plain-English explanations of the exclusions and thresholds that actually decide whether a claim pays. Where we translate a technical term or a coverage threshold, we explain what it means for you in practice, not just what it’s called.
Accuracy, dating, and corrections
Rates, policy forms, and regulations change, so each article shows when it was last updated, and we revise articles when the underlying facts change. If you spot an error, email us at info@dailyinsurance.news and we will review and correct it.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
Some articles contain affiliate links, which are disclosed on the article. When we earn a commission it never changes our editorial judgment or what we describe, and it comes at no extra cost to you. Editorial decisions are made independently of any commission.
